Focaal Automation P LTD has its office at 13/6 on 3rd Trust Cross Street in Mandavelipakkam. Chennai is always hot, and our little corner of Mandavelipakkam is no different. It’s a busy residential and commercial mix, so there’s always something going on outside our door. We focus on automation, which sounds more high-tech than it feels on a Tuesday afternoon when we’re sorting through inventory. The office is tucked away, and it’s got that lived-in feel with stacks of manuals and components everywhere. We’ve got a small group of people working here who have been around the block a few times. We don't use a lot of big words or pretend to be something we’re not. We just help local factories and businesses get their systems running. Sometimes that means spending hours troubleshooting a single piece of software or a faulty sensor. We drink a lot of filter coffee to keep going. The street outside is narrow, so deliveries are always a bit of a challenge, but we make it work. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls; it’s just a practical space where we get our hands dirty with technical problems. We like the neighborhood, even if parking is a nightmare. It’s where we started, and it’s where we stay busy day after day, just dealing with whatever comes through the door.
