Filternet Foundation

Filternet Foundation is based out of 14 Ramachandra Street in Venkatapuram, which is part of the Ambattur area. We are tucked away in a corner of Chennai that feels quite different from the central parts of the city. Being in Thiruvallur district means we have a bit more space, but it is still quite crowded. The building we are in is a simple one, nothing fancy or high-tech on the outside. Inside, we have our desks and a few shelves for storage. It gets pretty dusty because of the construction nearby, so we are always wiping down our keyboards. We don't have a grand vision statement or anything like that posted on the walls. We just come in, do the work, and go home. Usually, there is someone around to answer the phone, but we are often busy with the day-to-day tasks. The street outside is narrow, so parking can be a real headache if you aren't careful. We’ve been here for a bit now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The postman knows us well, which is helpful since we get a fair amount of mail at 600053. It’s an honest place to work. We don't try to sound bigger than we are. We are just a local foundation trying to manage things from our little office on Ramachandra Street without any unnecessary bells and whistles or corporate talk.
