Epic Deisgners Limited, Dhaka

This office is tucked away at Ashfaq Ahmed P.S. 5/54 on 2nd Street in Korattur. It is a quiet part of Chennai, which is nice when you are trying to get work done. Even though the name says Dhaka, we are right here in the 600080 pin code area. We do design work, mostly focusing on garments and how they are put together. The building is not hard to find if you know the street. We have a few desks and a lot of samples lying around everywhere. It can get a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big project. That is just part of the design process, I guess. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and checking details. Chennai is hot most of the year, so we keep the fans going and just focus on the drawings. We aren't a huge corporate firm with glass walls. It is a more practical space where people actually work with their hands. Sometimes we stay late to finish up a batch of designs. We have been in Korattur for a while and the neighbors are used to us by now. It is a decent place to work. We don't really do much advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they need something specific designed. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines running. We often have a quick chat with the tea seller who comes by in the afternoons.
