Emmanuel Dental Clinic

The clinic is tucked away in the Alsa Samar building on 2nd Avenue, right in the heart of Anna Nagar East. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty busy with people going to work or school. We are on the second floor at B7, so there are some stairs to climb before you get to the waiting room. It’s a small space, mostly filled with a few chairs and some old magazines on the side table. You can usually hear the sound of the dental drills from the back rooms, which I know makes some people a bit nervous. We’ve been at this unit for a while now. The windows look out over the street, so you can watch the cars go by while you wait. The receptionist handles all the appointments on a big desk that always seems to have too many papers on it. We use the standard blue chairs for the patients, and the lights are those bright overhead ones you find in any dental office. Most of the folks who come here are locals from the East side of the neighborhood. It’s not the biggest clinic in the world, but we have enough room for what we need to do. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps the place cool enough. We spend our days cleaning tools, checking schedules, and talking to patients about their teeth. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy.
