Dr Mehta Hospital Allergy & Asthma Center

Our center is located at Number 2 on MC Nichols Road, specifically in Number 3 Chetpet Lane. Chetpet is a busy part of the city, and MC Nichols Road is usually humming with activity. We focus on allergy and asthma problems here. It’s a specific kind of place because many of our patients come in struggling to breathe or dealing with reactions that make them miserable. The clinic itself is set up to be as clean and dust-free as we can manage, for obvious reasons. We have different rooms for testing and for sitting down to talk about what’s triggering the symptoms. It’s not a flashy medical center with glass walls and modern art. It’s more of a practical, lived-in space. We’ve got files piled up in the office and a waiting room that’s seen a lot of use over the years. We see people of all ages, from toddlers with wheezing to older adults who have had allergies their whole lives. The day usually goes by quickly because there’s always someone new coming in with a different set of symptoms. We just try to figure out what’s going on and give them some relief. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to helping out in the exam rooms. It's just a regular clinic in Chetpet, serving the community as best we can.
