This place is located at No 8 and 9 on Gangadeeswar Koil Street. Most people just look for the ICICI bank nearby since it is a big landmark in Purasaiwalkam. It can be a bit of a squeeze getting through Ambattur traffic sometimes, but once you are here, the street is familiar. Dr M J Ramakrishnamurti Speciality Centre has been in this spot for a bit. We spend most of our day dealing with the paperwork and seeing people who walk in from the street. The building is okay, nothing special to look at, but it does what it needs to do. We have some benches for people to sit on while they wait their turn. Sometimes the tea man comes by in the morning and that is usually the highlight of the early shift. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but not too bad. The street can get pretty dusty when the wind picks up, so we are always dusting off the front counter. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to stay too long. It is just us here every day, making sure the lights are on and the rooms are ready. People know where to find us because of the temple nearby. It is just a regular work day for everyone at the centre, honestly. We don't have fancy decorations, just the basic stuff you need for a clinic. It’s a simple life for us.
