Dharmaraj & Company

We are located at 42/2 on Veera Ragavan Road in the Vannarpet area. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history. The building we are in has been standing here for a long time. Dharmaraj & Company is just a small outfit. We deal with various things, mostly stuff for the local trade and businesses around here. The office has some old wooden chairs and a big heavy table where we spread out all our papers. The windows are quite small, so it stays a bit dim inside even during the bright day. We have a ceiling fan that wobbles a little bit when it’s on high. We don't really have a website or anything like that. People usually just find us by walking down Veera Ragavan Road or through someone they already know. The street outside is very narrow, so it’s hard for big trucks to come through here. We do our work, talk to the vendors, and manage the daily orders. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists. We have a small kettle for making coffee in the corner of the room. Sometimes the neighbors come in to borrow a tool or just to say hello for a minute. Vannarpet is a crowded and noisy place, but it feels like home to us. We just keep the business going as best as we can. There’s no big secret to what we do, just showing up every morning and doing the job.
