Dhaarmika Foundation

We’ve been over here on Marshall Road in Egmore for a while now. It’s number 19, right in that busy part of Chennai. If you know the 600008 area, you know how it gets during the day. Dhaarmika Foundation is just a small group of us working out of this office. It isn’t fancy or anything, just a regular place where we get things done. Some days it’s quiet, other days there’s a lot going on. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly find us because they live nearby or heard about us from someone else. The building itself is an older one, but it works for what we need. Chennai heat can be tough, but we have some fans going and keep at it. Most of the people around here know where we are. We try to keep things simple. There isn't a big team or a lot of complicated rules. It is just a few desks and some chairs. Being in Egmore makes it easy for people to stop by if they are already in the city for something else. We usually have someone here during the normal hours, unless we’re out for a bit. It’s a plain spot, really. Just a regular foundation doing its thing on a street that stays pretty crowded. We like it here though, it feels like we're actually part of the neighborhood.
