Devkripa Microfinance Foundation

We've been running Devkripa Microfinance Foundation from our spot here at Bollineni Hillside in Perumbakkam for a while now. It's located in Unit 8 of Block 7. Most people around Chennai know the Nookampalayam area pretty well. We handle small financial things for folks who need it. It isn't a huge fancy office, just a practical place where we get the paperwork done. The staff is mostly locals who live nearby. We usually open up in the morning and stay until the work is finished. Sometimes the traffic in Chennai makes getting here a bit slow, but we are always at the desk. We deal with microfinance stuff every day. It’s mostly about helping people manage their small loans or savings without too much fuss. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a handful of us sitting in the office making sure the numbers add up correctly. If you're coming from the main part of the city, you just head towards Perumbakkam. The building is easy to spot once you get into the Bollineni Hillside complex. We try to keep things straightforward and honest with everyone who walks through the door. There isn't any corporate talk here. We just explain how things work and let people decide what they want to do. It gets busy on Mondays especially. We have been at this address, 8/362, for quite some time now and we really don't plan on going anywhere else.
