Dental & Orthodontic Clinic

This place at Old No. 36 has been here through a lot of changes in the neighborhood. It’s a familiar spot for the families who have lived on this street for a long time. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but everyone knows it’s us. Inside, it’s not very large, just enough room for the dental equipment and a small area for people to sit. We’ve got a ceiling fan that ticks a little bit when it’s on the high setting, but it keeps the air moving. Most days are steady. We see people for cleanings, braces, and the occasional toothache that kept someone up all night. We don’t have a big reception staff, so if the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. It’s very informal. We like it that way because it feels more like a community spot than a cold office. You might see a stray cat sitting by the entrance sometimes, they seem to like the shade there. We don't spend money on big advertisements; we just rely on people telling their cousins or neighbors about us. It’s a quiet life, mostly. We show up, put on our coats, and start seeing whoever is on the schedule. It's nothing special to look at, but we've got everything we need to do the job right. We keep the floor swept and the chairs clean, and that's about it for our daily routine.
