Deepalaya Care Foundation

Deepalaya Care Foundation is tucked away at 31/1 on 19th Cross Street in T.P. Chatram. It’s one of those streets where everyone kind of knows each other’s business. We’ve got a small office that’s usually filled with the sound of the ceiling fan and the occasional motorbike zooming past outside. It’s not a polished space by any means. We have some mismatched chairs and a bookshelf that’s seen better days. But it’s ours, and it’s where we get things done. T.P. Chatram is a lively area, and there’s always something going on just outside the door. We don’t have any fancy signs or big posters. People usually just find us by word of mouth. We spend a lot of time just talking to the folks who live nearby. It’s a grounded kind of place. We don’t use big words or try to sound like we’re running a global company. We’re just local people working in our own neighborhood. The mornings are usually the best time here, before the sun gets too high and the street gets too loud. We keep things pretty simple. There’s no big hierarchy; we all just pitch in where it’s needed. It’s a practical way to run a foundation, and it’s served us well enough so far. We just take it one day at a time, making sure we answer the phone when it rings.
