Coho Bakery Private Limited

Coho Bakery Private Limited is located over in Egmore on Casa Major Road. We are at the Jerret Garden spot, specifically New No. 2/2. It’s an old part of Chennai, 600008, with a lot of history around it. We spend our mornings with the smell of flour and yeast. It’s a lot of physical work, kneading dough and watching the ovens. The building itself is a bit older, which we kind of like. It gives the place some character. We’ve got a small team here. We aren't trying to be the biggest bakery in the city. We just want to get the bread and cakes right. Some days the humidity messes with the dough, and we have to start over. That’s just part of the baking life. We don't have a glossy brochure or a fancy website. Most people just find us by walking past Casa Major Road. It's a busy street with plenty of traffic and people heading to work. We like being in Egmore. It feels central. We try to keep the shelves filled, but sometimes we sell out faster than we expect. It’s just us doing the best we can with what we have. If you’re ever around Jerret Garden, you’ll probably see us hauling bags of flour inside. It's a simple, honest way to make a living, and we enjoy it. We’ve been at this for a while now and don't plan on changing our way of doing things.
