Chandran & Company

Chandran & Company has been operating out of West Perumal Maistry Street for quite a while. We actually have two spots here, number 7-D and number 112. Having two locations on the same street keeps us on our toes, running back and forth between them. It’s an old part of town, so the streets are narrow and always full of life. You can hear the motorbikes and the vendors all day long. Inside our doors, it's usually a bit quieter, but there is always paperwork to finish or items to sort. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just talk like normal people and do our work. Some days are long, especially when the weather isn't cooperating, but that is part of being a local business. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, yet we’ve stayed right here. The building at 7-D is a bit older, with heavy doors and a lot of character. We don't mind the quirks of the place. It feels like home to us now. Most of our regulars know exactly where to find us and don't need a map. We value the relationships we've built with the folks around here. It isn't about being the biggest company in the city. It’s just about being reliable and showing up every morning at the same time to start the day.
