Our office is located at 27 Tamil Nadu Foundation Inc Building on Taylors Road in Kilpauk. It’s a nice enough area of Chennai, with some older buildings and a bit of greenery if you look for it. The Centre for Excellence in Organization Pvt Ltd sounds like a big title, but we are just a small group of people working out of a quiet office. The building has that classic feel to it, and we are quite comfortable there. Taylors Road can get busy, but it’s nothing compared to the main city roads. We spend our days mostly in meetings or on the phone, trying to help other organizations sort themselves out. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of coffee. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see one of us at a desk surrounded by stacks of papers and notebooks. We like the pace of Kilpauk. It’s central but doesn't feel like you’re in the middle of a beehive. Lunch is often brought from home, or we might go out to a local spot nearby. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work well and go home at a decent hour. It’s a simple life in a nice part of the city. We have been here for a while and have gotten to know the neighborhood and the people around us fairly well.
