Bvpl Employees Welfare Foundation

The Bvpl Employees Welfare Foundation operates out of A9 in the Vasanthapartments. It is located at South Mada Street in Saidapet. The address can be a little confusing because it has an old number, 25, and a new number, 19. We tell people to just look for the apartment name to make it easier. Being in Saidapet means we are right in the middle of a very busy part of Chennai. You can hear the temple bells and the local market noise from our windows. The office itself is just an apartment unit, so it feels very lived-in and casual. We have some old files piled up in the corner and a few plastic chairs for when people visit. It is not a place with a lobby or a security guard at a desk. We handle the welfare tasks for the employees in a very direct way. There is no corporate ladder here, just a few of us sitting around a table. Sometimes we have tea together while we figure out the schedule. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just about helping the staff when they need it. The kitchen in the apartment is mostly used for making coffee and snacks. It is a practical setup for a small foundation. We like the convenience of being on South Mada Street because everything we need is just a short walk away.
