Bakewell Industries Private Limited

Our place is located at 41 Mpm Street over in Perambur. It’s quite close to the Easwari Kalyana Mandabam, so people usually use that as a landmark to find us. Bakewell Industries Private Limited has been part of this Chennai neighborhood for a while. The street is usually full of life, and you can hear the sounds of the city all day long. We have a fairly simple setup inside. It’s an industrial space, so don’t expect anything too polished. There’s always some sort of machinery humming in the background. The floors are concrete and the walls have seen a few coats of paint over the years. We mostly just focus on getting the day's production finished. The staff here are mostly from around the Perambur area. We know the tea stall guy on the corner pretty well. On rainy days, the street outside can get a bit muddy, but we keep the doors open anyway. We aren't a massive corporation with a bunch of rules. It’s more like a group of people working together to make things happen. The 600011 area is our home and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the place. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix them on the fly. That’s just part of the job. We don't spend much time on fancy talk, we just work. The metal gate at the entrance squeaks a bit when you open it, but we’ve gotten used to that sound over time. We just keep at it.
