Astra Medical

If you head over to Nungambakkam in Chennai, you will find us on Wheat Crofts Road at number 22/11. Astra Medical isn't a giant warehouse or a fancy hospital, it is just our office where we manage the medical supplies and paperwork. The road outside can get pretty jammed with traffic during the rush hour, so we usually hear a lot of honking while we work. The building we are in has been around for a while. Inside, it smells a bit like old paper and the floor tiles are slightly worn down in the spots where we walk the most. We spend our day talking to suppliers and making sure the local clinics get what they need. It is mostly just keeping track of inventory and answering the phone when it rings. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to make things look perfect. It’s just us sitting at our desks, making sure the orders are correct. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise, but it keeps us cool enough. We like the area because everything we need is close by, even if the parking is a total nightmare. It is a very normal office where the work is practical and the atmosphere is quiet, except for the noise coming from the street.
