We are at No 2 Doshi Garden in D Block, where we use the rooms numbered 2 and 4 on the second floor. It’s right on Arcot Road, which is one of the busiest streets in Vadapalani. Being directly opposite the Vadapalani Bus Stop means there is a constant stream of people and vehicles outside. You can hear the conductors shouting and the buses idling from the office windows all day. We have a lot of computers set up for the education classes we run. The space is a bit cramped when all the chairs are full, but we make it work somehow. The hallway outside our door is usually busy with people from the other offices in the building. We’ve got some old posters about software on the walls that have been there for years. The air conditioning works most of the time, but when it doesn't, we just open the windows and deal with the street noise. People come here to learn coding or how to use different programs, mostly hoping to find a better job later on. We sit at the front desk and handle the paperwork as people come in. It’s a lot of typing and talking through technical problems. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or corporate. We are just a local spot where people can come to learn some new skills. The elevator in the building is a bit slow, so most of us just take the stairs.
