Our office is at No. 283 on Pycrofts Road, though a lot of people still call it Bharathi Salai. It’s right in the middle of Triplicane, so it’s never quiet outside. There is always a lot of traffic and people shouting, but once you step inside our place, it’s a lot calmer. We’ve been running Apkc Finance Private Limited from this spot for a while now. It’s a basic office with old desks and a few chairs for visitors. We don't see the need for a lot of expensive furniture. Most of our day is spent looking at loan documents or checking figures for our clients. We aren't trying to be the biggest finance company in Chennai. We just like doing our work and going home at the end of the day. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just how things are here. We know the shopkeepers next door and the guy who sells snacks on the corner. It feels like a real community. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. If people need us, they usually just walk in from the street or hear about us from a neighbor. We keep the books tidy and make sure everything is legal and above board. It’s a lot of paperwork, but someone has to do it. We’re just regular people working a regular job in Triplicane.
