You can find ALSTRUT India Pvt.Ltd. at 267, Kilpauk Garden Road. It’s a nice area of Chennai, and our building is easy to spot if you’re looking for it. The space inside is mostly dedicated to aluminum profiles and assembly work. We have a lot of long metal bars leaning against the walls and various connectors stored in bins. It’s a bit like a giant Meccano set for adults. Our staff spends a lot of time cutting things to size and showing people how our framing systems work. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; it’s mostly just engineers and technicians. The office part is pretty small, just enough for a few computers and a place to sit down with customers. It gets quite loud when the saws are running, but we’re used to it. We like being in Kilpauk because it’s central and our regular clients know the way. We’ve kept the place simple because we’d rather spend our time on the products than on fancy decor. There’s a small garden area out front that we try to keep tidy, though the Chennai heat makes it a challenge sometimes. We just focus on being reliable and getting the orders out right. It’s a straightforward business with people who actually know how to use a wrench and a tape measure.
