Actavis Pharma Manufacturing P Limited

Our facility is located out in the Sitdo Indl Estate in Alathur, specifically at the No-16/17-31/32 plots. Being at Actavis Pharma Manufacturing P Limited means we spend most of our time on the production floor. It’s a big space but it feels a bit cramped when all the machines are running. We’ve been in Alathur for a good stretch of time now. The commute can be a bit of a pain for some of the guys, but the estate is a good place to work from. There’s always trucks coming and going, so there’s plenty of noise. We don't really have a big fancy lobby, it's mostly just work areas and a small break room where we have tea. We handle a lot of the manufacturing steps right here on site. It involves a lot of watching gauges and checking batch numbers. It’s the kind of job where you’re on your feet most of the day. We try to stay out of the way of the other businesses in the estate. Sometimes the rain makes the roads around here a bit muddy, but we deal with it. It’s just part of being in an industrial area. Most of us have worked here for years. We know the rhythms of the machines and when things need fixing. It’s honest work and we keep to ourselves for the most part.
