You can find us at No 50 on Vallal Mgr Salai. We are right behind M K Auto in Maraimalai Nagar. We run both a mess and a catering service from this location. The mess keeps us busy during the lunch hours every single day. Workers from the nearby shops and the local garages come in for their afternoon meals. It’s a basic place with simple wooden benches and tables. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy decorations on the walls. People come for the hot food, and that’s exactly what we focus on. We cook in the back kitchen and serve in the front room. For the catering side, we take orders for local events and small parties. It’s usually me and my wife running the whole show with just two helpers. We get our supplies from the wholesale market once a week. It’s a lot of hauling and carrying heavy sacks. We make sure the kitchen is washed down thoroughly every single night. Maraimalai Nagar is an industrial area, so it’s always a bit dusty outside, but we keep our place very clean inside. We don't have a big complicated menu, just the standard meals that everyone likes to eat. We’ve been here for a few years and most of our customers are regulars who work around this street. If the food is good, people always come back, and that’s how we have stayed open all this time.
