Simmavahini Foundation

Our foundation is located at number 2/145 on M G R Street in Medavakkam. It is a pretty straightforward place in a busy part of the post-Medavakkam area. We have been working from this spot for a bit, and it serves as our main base for everything we do. The street can get a little crowded during the day with all the local movement, but our office stays relatively quiet once you step inside. We don't have a big team or a massive hall, just a couple of rooms where we organize our activities and keep our records. People from the neighborhood often drop by to ask questions or see what we are up to. It is a very local operation. We don’t go in for anything polished or professional-looking; we just use the space we have to get things done. The building itself is an older one, but it works for us. Most of our day involves planning things out or meeting with people who live nearby. It is a practical setup without any bells or whistles. Being in Medavakkam helps because it’s easy for folks to find us without having to travel too far. We just try to keep things steady and handle the work that comes our way. There are no fancy mission statements on the walls here, just a calendar and some notes about what needs to be finished by the end of the week. It is just us working in our local corner.
