We are out in Keerapakkam. Rk Heavy Engineering & Projects Pvt. Ltd. is based here in the Pulleri Panchayat area of Thirukalukundram. It’s a bit of a long drive from the main city, but we like the extra space we have out here. Handling heavy engineering stuff means we need plenty of room for the equipment and the various projects we take on. It can get pretty dusty and loud when we’re in the middle of a big job, but that’s normal for us. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. Most of the guys who work here live nearby in the village. We don’t do much fancy advertising or marketing. Most people find out about us because they see the work we’re doing or they hear it from someone else in the area. Thirukalukundram is a quiet enough place until we start the big machines up. We try to keep things moving along according to the schedule, though sometimes parts take a lot longer to arrive than we’d like. That’s just how it is with heavy projects and logistics. We don’t have a big front desk or a receptionist greeting people. Usually, if you come by, you’ll just see someone in work gear. We handle the paperwork in a small office on the side of the main workshop. It’s a practical setup. We’ve got the tools and the space, and that’s what really matters for the kind of engineering we do. We’re just local people doing a job.
