Mantra Cement Products

At Mantra Cement Products, we spend our days working with sand, gravel, and cement to make various items for building. Our yard is at 274 Station Road, right in Selvaraj Nagar. Being near the station makes it convenient for people to find us, though it does get a bit loud when the trains go by. We make things like concrete blocks, fence posts, and other precast items that people need for their gardens or construction sites. The work is very physical and we are usually covered in gray dust by the end of the day. We have a few guys who have been helping us for years, and we all know the routine pretty well by now. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. If you need some cement blocks, you just come down to the yard and talk to us. We keep a small office in the corner of the lot to handle the money and the paperwork. It is a very straightforward business with no frills. Sometimes the mixture doesn't set right because of the weather, and we have to start over, but that is just part of the trade. We focus on making things that are strong enough to last a long time. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is steady work and we like being outdoors most of the time instead of sitting behind a desk.
