We are set up at number 11 in the Gudalur Industrial Area, which is part of Maraimalai Nagar in Kancheepuram. It’s a proper industrial zone, so there are trucks and machinery moving around all the time. Our building is a standard industrial unit. Inside, we work on various systems and technical equipment. It’s not the quietest place to work because of the nearby factories. We’ve been in Kancheepuram for some time now. The workspace is large and open, mostly filled with benches and testing gear. We don't have fancy furniture, just what we need to get the job done. Often, the weather gets really hot, and the fans just move the warm air around. We mostly deal with other businesses in the industrial area. There’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving crates from one side to the other. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we have a routine down. We aren't really a retail shop, so we don't get many walk-in visitors. It’s more about the technical work we do on-site. Kancheepuram is a bit of a drive from the main city, but it's where the work is. We keep the floor as clean as we can, but it's an industrial setting, so there’s always some grease or dust somewhere. It’s a long day usually, but we get things done. We just keep the machines running and handle whatever technical issues come our way during the shift. It's hard work but we are used to it.
