Balaji Driving School

I’ve lived around Chengalpattu my whole life and seen how much the traffic has changed over the years. We started Balaji Driving School here because folks in the neighborhood needed a place to learn how to handle a steering wheel without getting too stressed out. It’s not always easy for new drivers, especially with how busy the roads get around 603001. We mostly spend our days sitting in the passenger seat, keeping an eye on the clutch and making sure people don't stall in the middle of a turn. The office is right here in town. It isn't anything fancy, just a desk and some chairs where we fill out the paperwork and talk about road rules. Most of the people who come to us are just regular neighbors, students from nearby, or parents who finally decided it’s time to get behind the wheel. We take the cars out every morning and stay busy until the sun goes down. Sometimes the engines get a bit loud or the gears grind, but that’s just part of the learning process. We don't try to rush things because everyone learns at a different pace. Some take a week, others take a month. If you see our cars moving slowly through the streets of Chennai, that’s just us helping someone figure out their reverse parking. It’s honest work and we like being a part of this community. We keep things simple here.
