Asdhec Aviation Skill Development And Higher Education Council

The office for Asdhec Aviation Skill Development And Higher Education Council is on the second floor of Plot No.29. We are right on Sri Ambal Nagar Main Road in the Tambaram area. Being on the second floor is nice because we get a bit of a breeze, which helps with the Kanchipuram heat. It is a busy road outside with lots of traffic heading toward the main parts of town. We have a few rooms here for the skill development sessions. The name is quite long, so we just call it Asdhec among ourselves. There are posters on the walls about aviation and skills, but they are mostly just there for information. The furniture is the basic office kind—metal chairs and wooden desks that have seen better days. We get a lot of young people coming in to ask about higher education and what they should do with their careers. We just sit with them and go over the details. It is a lot of talking and explaining every day. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful. Sometimes we have tea brought up from the shop downstairs. It is a regular workplace where we try to help people figure out their next steps. No fancy lobby or elevators here, just a practical space on a main road where we do our thing daily.
