Matha Agro Mills

You can find Matha Agro Mills over in Okkal, near the post office in Perumbavoor. It’s a rural spot, which is good because we work with agricultural stuff. We spend our days dealing with the local crops and getting them processed. It’s a lot of work with our hands and the machines. The mill can get pretty noisy when everything is running at once. We usually have farmers coming by to drop off their harvests. It’s a busy place during the harvest seasons, and we often work late to keep up with the flow. The office is just a small room off to the side where we keep the ledger books. We don’t use a lot of fancy technology, just the basics to keep track of what’s coming in and going out. Perumbavoor is a good place for this kind of work. The staff here are all locals, and we’ve known most of them for a long time. It’s a tight-knit group. We don’t do any marketing; word of mouth is usually enough for us. People know the quality of the work we do at the mill. It’s honest, hard work and the dust gets everywhere, but that’s just part of the job. We keep the machines oiled and the floors swept as best as we can between loads. It is a simple life and it keeps us busy enough throughout the year.
