Being out here in Chatra Village is a lot different than working in a big city. Our place, Farm And Garden Technologies Pvt. Ltd, is right in the middle of Badhouna Panchayat. It’s a quiet area mostly, except during the harvest when everyone is out in the fields. Vidyapati Nagar isn't far, but we mostly stay put here. We deal with a lot of farming tools and some of the newer stuff that helps with the gardens. Most days are spent talking to people who come in with broken parts or questions about their soil. It gets pretty muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the floor. We aren't a huge corporation with a glass office. It's more of a practical space with tools sitting on benches and papers piled up. My cousin helps out with the books, and we have a couple of guys who know how to fix almost anything. We don’t really do advertisements. People just find us by word of mouth or when they pass by the main village road. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. Sometimes we sit outside and drink tea when there aren't any customers. You get to see the season change right outside the door. It’s just how we live and work here in the village. Nothing too complicated about it, just keeping the farm stuff running for the locals.
