You can find us on the ground floor over here in Magnappanapalya Kempalinganahalli. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the address, but once you get to building number 6, you’ll see our door. The space isn’t huge, but we make it work by stacking things up to the ceiling. We mostly handle organic stuff for people who have gardens or small plots of land around here. There is usually a bit of an earthy smell in the air because of what we keep in the back room. It’s just a few of us running the show, so if we are on the phone or helping someone else, you might have to wait a minute. We don’t really do fancy displays. The shelves are mostly just plain wood we put up ourselves. Sometimes the neighborhood kids run past the door and make a lot of noise, which makes it hard to hear customers, but that is just part of being in this area. We drink a lot of tea while we go through the ledgers. It gets pretty busy on Saturday mornings when everyone is off work and looking to fix up their plants. We try to keep the stock fresh, so we’re always moving bags around and checking dates. It’s a simple setup, really. Just a ground-floor shop where we try to stay organized and help out the folks who walk in.
