Out here in Kottayam, you can find Planet Architectural & Interior Designers on Vazhoor Road. We are specifically in the Kurisummoodu area, near Veliyakulam. It is a relatively quiet part of the region compared to the big cities, which is something we actually enjoy. Our work involves both the outside and the inside of buildings. We spend a lot of time thinking about how to make a space functional for the people living there. Sometimes we are out on a site getting dusty, and other times we are back at the office on Vazhoor Road drawing things on our screens. The office is a practical space where we keep all our samples and sketches. We have been in Kottayam for a good while, so we understand the local style and what materials work best with the weather here. It is not always easy work, as there are always unexpected problems that pop up during a build. We just deal with them as they come. We aren't interested in sounding like a big polished company. We are just local designers who like to get the details right. If you pass through Veliyakulam, you might see our sign. People often drop in to ask about a new house or a shop renovation. We just sit down, show them what we have been working on, and see if we can help them out with their plans. It is just what we do here every day from Monday to Saturday.
