Our office is located at number 12 in the Pazhaveedu area of Changanacherry, Kottayam. We are right near the Pazhaveedu Temple, which is a very quiet and peaceful part of the town. This is where Nisha Shyam Architects & Interior Designer operates from every day. It is a small practice, and we prefer it that way because it stays personal. We do all the usual things you would expect, like drawing up house plans and deciding where the furniture and lights should go inside. It is a mix of creative work and very boring technical stuff. We have lots of rolls of paper and various samples of wood and stone lying around the office. People from the local Changanacherry area often come by to talk about their ideas for a new home. We listen and then try to make something that fits their needs and their budget. It is a slow process sometimes, but we don't like to rush things. We have lived and worked in this part of Kottayam for a long time. We know the local builders and we know what kind of houses people here like. The temple nearby provides a nice atmosphere for the office. We just do our work, talk to our clients like regular people, and make sure the designs are solid. It is a humble way of working, but it has served us well over the years. We just keep things moving at our own pace.
