Ottalath Enterprises

We are set up at No- 18 in Thrikkodithanam. It is right across from Changanacherry, which makes it easy to explain to delivery drivers. Ottalath Enterprises is basically just a small local operation. We have been here for a good while. The building isn't new, but it stays dry and holds all our stuff. We handle various bits and pieces depending on what people are asking for that month. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking lists. Thrikkodithanam is a quiet enough place most of the time. We know most of the people who live around here. Sometimes the shop gets a bit disorganized when we have a big shipment come in, but we straighten it out eventually. We don't really do much advertising. People just know we are here. My uncle started this and now we just keep it going. It’s a lot of long hours but it feels okay. We have a small tea break in the afternoon, that's usually the highlight. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains heavily. We try to keep the entrance clear. It’s a plain business. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the sign out front and the work we do every day. We usually have a radio playing in the corner to keep us company. It’s mostly old songs that the older customers like. We try to keep the shelves stocked, but sometimes things sell out faster than we expect. It's just life in a small town enterprise. We don't mind.
