Larsen Toubro

We are set up over at Swapnil V Ghate, which is near the Govind Swami Temple. It’s in the Nagaji Ward of Chandrapur. Being so close to the temple means it’s usually a peaceful and quiet spot, except during the big festivals when things get crowded. Our office for Larsen Toubro is just a basic building where we gather to work every day. It’s not fancy at all. We have a few rooms with desks and some old ceiling fans that keep the air moving when it gets stuffy. Most of us are locals from right here in Chandrapur. We know the area and the people very well. We don’t really use a lot of big words or complicated processes in our daily routine. We just look at what needs to be done and we go ahead and do it. Sometimes the weather gets really hot in this part of the country, so we try to start our day early to beat the heat. It’s a very grounded and practical way of working. We don't have a big corporate sign or a fancy lobby with a fountain. It’s just a regular door and some people working hard inside. We’ve been at this location for a good bit and we’ve gotten to know the people around Nagaji Ward. We try to keep things quiet and not bother our neighbors. If you’re passing the temple, you’re basically right at our doorstep. We are just a small part of the local landscape. We do our bit and keep moving forward every single day.
