Infomedia India Limited

Infomedia India Limited is tucked away over in Swami Vivekanand Nagar in Kanhan, which is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the main part of Nagpur. Being out here in Dist Nagpur means it is a little quieter than the city center, but we stay busy enough with all the media work. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place where we keep the machines running and the papers moving. We spend a lot of time checking proofs and making sure the text looks right before it goes out. Sometimes the power goes out or the machines act up because of the humidity, and we all have to scramble to get back on track. It is a lot of local people working here, so everyone knows each other’s business and we usually eat lunch together in the small break area. Marketing teams or people in suits aren't really a thing here. Most of the time, it is mostly just us in our regular clothes, dealing with the daily deadlines that never seem to stop. The Kanhan area has its own pace, and we’ve kind of settled into it over the years. We have stacks of old publications in the corners and the smell of ink is pretty much everywhere. It is a long day usually, especially when a big project comes through, but we just get on with it without making a big fuss about it for the neighbors.
