If you're looking for Gates Tech, we’re right on the second floor above the Punjab National Bank. It’s the main road near Jaitpura Gate, so you can't really miss the building. We’ve been teaching computer courses here for a while now. The classrooms have rows of PCs and we spend most of our time showing students how to use different software or helping them with coding problems. It’s usually pretty noisy with the sound of typing and people talking through their assignments. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It's just a functional space where people come to learn something useful. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of being in this part of town. Our staff is mostly just a few instructors who know their way around a computer. We offer different certificates and things, but the main thing is just getting people comfortable with technology. The location above the bank is convenient because everyone knows where that is. We get a mix of students, some young and some older folks just trying to keep up with how things work these days. It’s a straightforward operation. We open up early and usually have classes running until the evening. It’s good to see people improve their skills over a few months. We just try to provide a decent place for people to study and get their work done.
