You can find us over at 5708-A in Sector-38 West, Chandigarh. It’s a residential-looking area, so it’s pretty calm compared to the busy city center. We spend our days helping people who want to move to other countries. There’s always a lot of talk about visas and points and passports in the office. People come in with big folders full of their whole lives, hoping to get a chance somewhere else. It’s a lot of responsibility, so we try to be careful with everything. The office isn't anything special to look at. Just some desks, some computers, and a lot of chairs for people to wait in. We’ve been in Sector-38 West for a while, and the neighbors know us. Sometimes people get lost trying to find the specific house number because the lanes look similar, but once they’re here, it’s straightforward. We drink a lot of water and chat about the news while we wait for files to process. It’s not like those big agencies you see on TV. We’re just local people doing the paperwork. Every day is different because everyone’s story is different. One person wants to go to Canada, another to Australia. We just sit down with them and go through the forms. It’s a lot of typing and double-checking names and dates. When the sun goes down, we lock up and head home like everyone else in Chandigarh. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy.
