White Shoes Industries

White Shoes Industries is basically just us working out of Plot No. 243 in Phase-1. If you know the industrial area, you know it gets pretty hectic around here in the mornings with all the trucks and people arriving at the same time. We spend most of our time on the factory floor making sure the machines are actually doing what they should. It’s not a fancy setup at all. There is just a lot of concrete, some heavy equipment, and a small office corner that’s usually piled high with papers and samples. We started doing this a while back because we knew the shoe trade, and we’ve just stuck with it ever since. The tea guy comes by at eleven and four, which is usually the highlight of the shift. Most of our guys have been here for years, so we all know how to fix the quirks in the older machines when they act up. It’s dusty work. Your hands get dirty within five minutes of walking in, but that’s just how it is. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door during the monsoon, so we have to move the stock around quickly to keep everything dry. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a bunch of us trying to get the orders out the door on time so we can go home. The neighbors at 242 and 244 are alright. We mostly just wave when we see each other at the gate. It's a loud place but we're used to it.
