We are located at shop 196 in Sector 20, right near Crawford Market. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets. There are people everywhere and it’s always loud, which we actually kind of like. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. Madan Gupta Sapatu is just what we do. It’s not a big company with a board of directors. It’s just us. We open up early because that’s when the market starts moving. There is a lot of dust and noise from the trucks, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. Our space is small and we have stuff stacked up pretty high to make room for everyone. We don't have an office with air conditioning or fancy chairs. Most of the time we’re standing or sitting on stools. We deal with people from all over who come to the market looking for things. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of carrying boxes. We don't use much technology besides our phones and an old notebook for keeping track of what’s what. People know us by name around here. It’s a good feeling to be part of the market’s history. We don't spend money on ads. People just know where 196 is. We just keep doing what we’ve been doing for years, one day at a time, and hope for good weather so the customers keep coming through the doors.
