Waheguru'S Helping Needy Foundation

We started this out of House no 1515 in Sector 32. It’s a quiet spot, but we stay busy. Mostly, we just look around and see who needs a hand with things. It wasn't some big plan or anything, just felt like the right thing to do. If someone’s struggling nearby, they usually find their way to us or we find them. People come by the house all the time asking for different kinds of help. We do what we can with what we have on hand. It’s mostly just a few of us coordinating things from the living room. Sometimes we’re out in the street, other times we’re just making calls. The area here in 160030 is home for us. We know the people and we see the problems firsthand every day. It’s not fancy. There aren’t any big offices or logos everywhere. Just the address in B-Sector and some willing hands. We try to keep things simple because life is complicated enough for folks as it is. We deal with whatever comes through the door, whether it’s food or clothes or just some advice. It feels good to be useful in our own neighborhood. We don’t really do much advertising. Word of mouth works well enough around here. People know where 1515 is if they get into a tight spot. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
