Our spot is at No. 50 in Village Dadumajra. It’s not in the middle of a big shopping mall, which suits us just fine. Trekkers World is really just a place for people who like being outside. We have a lot of gear scattered around—boots, backpacks, and tents that probably need a good cleaning. Most of us here grew up walking the trails and we just never really stopped. We don't have a fancy sales floor. It feels more like a storage room that people happen to visit. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone drinking chai and looking at a map of the hills. We don't give long speeches about the spirit of adventure. We just know which boots will give you blisters and which ones won't. Sometimes we take groups out, and other times we just sell the stuff you need to go out on your own. The village is quiet, and we like that. It gives us space to check the equipment and make sure everything is sturdy. We’ve seen a lot of people come through here, from experts to folks who’ve never slept in a tent before. We treat everyone the same. We aren't polished or corporate. We just like the mountains and wanted a place in Dadumajra where we could talk about them and keep our gear. It's a simple life, mostly spent planning the next trip.
