We started this place a while back in the basement of SCO 126-127 over in Sector 34A. It's usually pretty busy here with people coming in to talk about their trips. My brother and I handle most of the bookings and we spend a lot of time on the phone with hotels and bus operators. It gets a bit cramped sometimes downstairs, especially when we have a few people waiting, but it's where we do all our work. Most days we are just looking at train schedules and trying to figure out which routes are running on time. People stop by when they need help with their holiday plans or just want to know how much a flight costs these days. We don't have a big fancy office, just some old desks and a lot of paper folders stacked everywhere. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, but we get things done eventually. We've lived in this area for a long time, so we know the neighborhood and the people well. It's mostly us sitting here with our tea, checking the latest travel updates on the computer screen. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us occupied and we like talking to the travelers. We try to be straightforward with folks about what’s possible with their budget and what’s not. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in this business, more than you’d think. We just keep plugging away at it every day. If you walk past the basement, you’ll probably see us through the window just typing away or talking on our mobile phones. It's just a regular local business.
