The Ground Shakers

We are based out of Sector 19B in Chandigarh, specifically on the ground floor of building 1017. It’s near the Idea Factory, which is a landmark most people in the sector know. The space is mostly an open floor where we do our thing. We have some mirrors on the walls and a sound system that we probably turn up a bit too loud for the neighbors sometimes. It’s not a polished studio like you see in the movies. The floor has some scuffs and the paint is peeling in the corners, but it serves the purpose. People come here to practice and get their routines down. Whether it is for a school function or a local competition, we just get to work. Chandigarh is a planned city, but our days are usually a bit chaotic with people coming in and out at different times. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a team of people handling the phones. Usually, one of us just answers when we aren't busy with a session. We focus on the movement and making sure everyone is keeping time. It’s a practical space for practical people. We’ve been in this part of Sector 42 C and 19B for a while and we know the community here. It’s just about showing up and putting in the hours. We don't promise anything crazy, just a place to get better at what you do and have a bit of space to move.
