Sukhmani Driving School

Sukhmani Driving School is located at 2, Chandigarh Gpo, right in the heart of Sector 15. If you know Chandigarh, you know how the roads are laid out and how careful you have to be. We spend a lot of time in the car with people who are quite nervous about their first time behind the wheel. The area around the GPO is usually bustling, so it's a good place to start learning how to handle a vehicle. Our office isn't anything special, just a place to sit and talk about the rules before we head out into the traffic of Sector 15. We see all kinds of people, from young kids to older folks who finally decided it was time to learn. The weather in Chandigarh changes a lot, so some days we are driving in the heat and others in the rain, which is good practice really. We've been here for a good bit now. Most of our day is just spent watching the mirrors and telling people when to shift gears. It's a lot of sitting but you have to stay alert. We don't do much advertising, mostly just people seeing our cars around the sector. It's a straightforward job and we like being part of the local community here near the 160017 zip code. We just want people to be safe on these roads. Every day is a new set of challenges but we keep at it.
