Sidhu Driving School

I run Sidhu Driving School over in Sector 21C in Chandigarh. We are at house number 15, right near the HDFC Bank ATM, so it’s a landmark most people in the neighborhood know well. I’ve been teaching people how to drive around these streets for quite a long time now. Chandigarh has those wide roads, but they can still be tricky for a beginner who’s worried about stalling the car at a big intersection. We get all types of learners here. Some are young kids who just turned eighteen and are dying to get their license, and others are older folks who never got around to learning until now for one reason or another. It’s a small operation. We have the car, the learner plates, and plenty of patience. That’s really all you need for this kind of work. I spend my days sitting in the passenger seat, watching the mirrors and making sure my students don’t get too flustered when someone honks at them. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is what I do. The office is just a simple room where we handle the paperwork and talk about the rules of the road. People usually find us because they live nearby in Sector 21C or they saw the car driving around. We don't do much in the way of advertising. It’s just about being there every day and helping neighbors get their license. It’s a steady pace, and I like it that way.
