Soni Cement & Building Material Co.

Located at Plot No.32 in Phase 1, Mohali, our yard is a busy place. Most people know the area because it's right near the Soni Coal Depot, which is a big landmark around here. Since this is an industrial part of town, there is always a lot of dust and heavy trucks moving around. We deal with cement and all sorts of building materials every day. It’s heavy work, mostly lifting bags and loading them onto trailers for the customers. The yard stays pretty busy starting from the early morning hours. Mohali has changed a lot over the years, with new buildings going up everywhere. Keeping up with the demand is our main focus. Our office is small and mostly filled with ledgers and old receipts. You won't find a fancy showroom or anything like that here. Customers just come in, tell us how many bags they need, and we get them loaded up. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit muddy, which is a pain, but we deal with it. It feels more like a family-run place even if we have staff helping out. Many local contractors are known to us by name now. They stop by, have a quick chat, and get their supplies. Glamour isn't part of the job, but buildings don’t get built without cement. We stay open pretty late sometimes if a big job is finishing up nearby. A yard dog usually keeps us company.
