Silverline Office Systems

Silverline Office Systems is over at 150 Industrial Area Phase II. It’s a busy part of town, and our building is usually surrounded by vans and delivery trucks. We deal with desks, chairs, and all the stuff that goes into making an office work. It’s heavy work, honestly. We spend a lot of time unboxing things and putting furniture together. My back definitely feels it at the end of some days. The space in Phase II is mostly a big warehouse floor with a small corner for us to sit and do the billing. It’s a bit drafty in the winter, but we have a couple of small heaters that help a little. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to get the orders right and delivered on time. Sometimes a shipment arrives with a scratch on something, and we have to spend the afternoon sorting it out with the supplier. That’s just how it goes in this business. We’ve got a good group of people here who don’t mind the heavy lifting. We usually eat lunch together on the loading dock if the weather is nice. It’s a chance to get away from the phones and the smell of cardboard for a bit. Phase II has its own character, very industrial and fast-paced, but we’ve found our own pace within it.
