Shikshaway Foundation

Shikshaway Foundation is based out of House Number 1047 in Sector 25D. We are in Chandigarh, 160014. It’s a regular house that we’ve converted into a workspace for the foundation. We don't have a big corporate office with a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We like it this way because it’s practical and keeps our costs down. Sector 25D is a nice enough area, and being in a house makes the whole thing feel more personal. We spend our time working on various projects, and most of that happens right here at the kitchen table or in the small office we set up. We aren't professional writers, so this is just the reality of how we operate. Shikshaway Foundation is just a small team of us. We have our good days and our stressful days, just like anyone else. Sometimes we lose track of time because there is always something that needs fixing or someone who needs a call back. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we chose to do. Chandigarh is our home, and we wanted to base the foundation here where we can actually see the impact. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished stories. We are just here, working out of 1047, trying to keep things moving forward one step at a time. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we get the job done eventually.
