Shanti Jewellers

We are located on the first floor of SCF-26. It’s a simple spot, away from the noise of the ground floor shops. Shanti Jewellers has been our little project for a good while now. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs to see us, so we don't get as many random passersby, which is actually quite nice. It allows us to focus on the work without too many interruptions. The space is filled with our tools and some old display cases that have seen better days. We aren't much for decorating. As long as the lights work and we have enough space to sit, we are fine. The building itself is a bit old, and the stairs can be a bit steep, but we’ve gotten used to it. We usually start the day with a bit of cleaning. There’s always dust coming in from the windows. We aren't trying to be the most modern shop in the world. We just do things the way we were taught. It’s a quiet life, mostly spent looking through magnifying glasses or writing in our ledgers. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still done by hand. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sitting near the window where the light is best. It’s just a regular shop run by people who care about what they do and want to keep things going as they always have.
